【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthepropertiesandthetestmethodsofsealantsusedtoresealthreadedjointsofmetallicgaspipeworkinbuildingsoperatedatamaximumallowedoperatingpressureof100mbar(suchsealantshereafterarereferredtoas"sealants").NoteGaspipeworkinbuildingsisinaccordancewithEN1775thepipeworkbetweenthepointofdeliveryandtheinletconnectiontothegasappliance.ThisStandardisapplicabletosealantsforthreadedjointsofmetallicgaspipework,inbuildings,carryingfuelgasesofthe1family(towngas),2family(naturalgas),and3family(liquefiedpetroleumgases(LPG))(seeEN437)butnotincludingliquefiedpetroleumgasesintheliquidstate.SealingmaterialsfortheinstallationofmetallicthreadedjointsarespecifiedinEN751.
