【摘要】:Concernslaboratorytestsusedtomeasurethetoxiccomponentsofthefireeffluentfromeitherelectrotechnicalproductsormaterialsusedinelectrotechnicalproducts.Itprovidesguidanceontheuseandinterpretationofresultsfromsuchtests.ItdiscussescurrentlyavailableapproachestotoxichazardassessmentconsistentwiththeapproachofISOTC92SC3,assetoutinISO/TR9122-1to9122-6,ISO13344andISO/TS13571.Italsoprovidesguidanceontheuseoftoxicpotencydatainhazardassessmentandonprincipleswhichunderlietheuseofcombustibilityandtoxicologicalinformationinhazardassessment.Themethodsdescribedareapplicabletodataconcerningboththeincapacitatingeffectsandthelethaleffectsoffireeffluents.ThestructureofthistechnicalspecificationremainsessentiallythesameasthefirsteditionbuthasbeenusefullyexpandedinallareastofurtherclarifythealignmentwithISO/TC92FireSafetyandinparticularwithISO13344andISO/TS13571.Themaintopicshavebeenexpandedupontobringthemintoalignmentwiththecurrentphilosophyfortheuseandinterpretationoftestresults.-Formulaearegivenforthecalculationofthefractionoftheincapacitatingdoseforeachoftheasphyxiants,carbonmonoxideandhydrogencyanide.-Volumefractionsthatareexpectedtocauseincapacitation(Fvalues)aregivenforsomeofthemoreimportantirritants.-Equationsusedtopredictdeatharegiven.-Thehyperventilatoryeffectofcarbondioxideisdiscussed.HasthestatusofabasicsafetypublicationinaccordancewithIECGuide104.

【摘要】:Millionsofoilandgaswells,watersupplywells,andwellsinstalledforenvironmentalmonitoringandremediationpurposes,havebeenabandoned.Theneedtodeterminethelocationsoftheseabandonedwellsisbasedonsafetyandthreatstotheenvironment.Improperlyconstructedorabandonedwellsmayposeasafetythreattohumansandanimals,maybesourcesofbrinesandotherundesirablefluidscomingtothesurface,maybeconduitsfortransportofcontaminationfromthesurfacetothesubstrate,ormaycross-contaminatewater-bearingzonesinthesubsurface.Allstatesdonotrequiredocumentationoftheabandonmentofwellsandmaynothavespecificrequirementsforabandonmentprocedures.1.1Thisguideprovidesanapproachtoselectingandimplementingaprogramtoidentifythelocationsofabandonedwells.Thisguideprovidesdescriptionsofmethodstobeusedasstartingpointsinthesearchfortheselocations.Itisnotintendedtobeastep-by-stepproceduretoconductthesearchprogram.Thisguidealsoprovideslistingsofgovernmentagenciesthatmayhavewelllocationinformation.Itisunderstoodthataddressesandphonenumberschangeandthattheincludedinformationmaynotbeaccurateinthefuture.1.2ThedescribedmethodsareapproachesthathavebeenusedatmanysitesacrosstheUnitedStates.Othermethodsmaybeappropriate.Typically,severalapproachesareusedtoobtainacceptableconfirmationofwelllocations.Thisguideisnotlimitedtospecificwells.Themethodchosenshouldbeappropriateforthesizeoftheareabeingsearchedandthetypeofwellbeinglocated.Somewelltypesandconstructionmaterialsmayprecludetheirdetectionbyanyofthemethodsdescribed.1.3Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationorseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisguidecannotreplaceeducationandexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgement.
