【摘要】:DensityandAPIgravityareusedincustodytransferquantitycalculationsandtosatisfytransportation,storage,andregulatoryrequirements.AccuratedeterminationofdensityorAPIgravityofcrudepetroleumandliquidpetroleumproductsisnecessaryfortheconversionofmeasuredvolumestovolumesatthestandardtemperaturesof15x00B0;Cor60x00B0;F.DensityandAPIgravityarealsofactorsthatindicatethequalityofcrudepetroleum.Crudepetroleumpricesarefrequentlypostedagainstvaluesinkg/m3orindegreesAPI.However,thispropertyofpetroleumisanuncertainindicationofitsqualityunlesscorrelatedwithotherproperties.FieldofApplication8212;Becausethethermohydrometerincorporatesboththehydrometerandthermometerinonedevice,itismoreapplicableinfieldoperationsfordeterminingdensityorAPIgravityofcrudepetroleumandotherliquidpetroleumproducts.Theprocedureisconvenientforgatheringmaintrunkpipelinesandotherfieldapplicationswherelimitedlaboratoryfacilitiesareavailable.Thethermohydrometermethodmayhavelimitationsinsomepetroleumdensitydeterminations.Whenthisisthecase,othermethodssuchasTestMethodD1298(APIMPMSChapter9.1)maybeused.Thistestmethodissuitablefordeterminingthedensity,relativedensity,orAPIgravityoflowviscositytransparentoropaqueliquids,orboth.Thistestmethod,whenusedforopaqueliquids,requirestheuseofameniscuscorrection(see7.2).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedetermination,usingaglassthermohydrometer,ofthedensity,relativedensity(specificgravity),orAPIgravityofcrudepetroleumandliquidpetroleumproductswithReidvaporpressuresof101.325kPa(14.696psi)orless.Valuesaredeterminedatexistingtemperaturesandcorrectedto15x00B0;Cor60x00B0;Fbymeansofinternationalstandardtables.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinchpound-unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortheevaluationofthe"ultimate"biodegradabilityofor-ganiccompoundsatagivenconcentrationbyaerobicmicroorganisms.TheconditionsdescribedinthisInternationalStandarddonotnecessarilyalwayscorrespondtotheoptimalconditionsallowingthemaximumdegreeofbio-degradationtooccur.Themethodappliestoorganiccompoundswhichare—solubleattheconcentrationusedunderthecon-ditionsofthetest(10mg/lto40mg/lDOC);—non-volatile,orhavinganegligiblevapourpressureundertheconditionsofthetest(seenote5in8.3);—notsignificantlyadsorbableonglassandactivatedsludge(seenote6in8.3);—notinhibitorytothetestmicroorganismsattheconcentrationchosenforthetest.Inhibitoryef-fectscanbedeterminedasdescribedin8.3,orbyusinganyothermethodfordeterminingtheinhibitoryeffectonbacteriaofasubstance(e.g.ISO8192).
