【摘要】:1ThispartofIEC61779givesguidanceontheselection,installation,useandmaintenanceofelectricallyoperatedgroupIIapparatusforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammablegasescomplyingwiththerequirementsofIEC61779-1toIEC61779-5.Itisacompilationofpracticalknowledgetoassisttheuser,andappliestoapparatus,instrumentsandsystemsthatindicatethepresenceofaflammableorpotentiallyexplosivemixtureofgasorvapourwithairbyusinganelectricalsignalfromagassensortoproduceameterreading,toactivateavisualoraudiblepre-setalarmorotherdevice,oranycombinationofthese.NOTE-Wheninclassifiedareas,theapparatusshouldbesoinstalledandusedthatitisnotcapableofitselfignitingacombustiblegas-airmixture.ItshouldthereforecomplywiththerequirementsofIEC60079-10.Forthepurposeofthisstandard,flammablegasesshallincludeflammablevapours.2ThisstandardappliesonlytogroupIIapparatusintendedforuseinindustrialandcommercialsafetyapplications,involvingareasclassifiedinaccordancewithIEC60079-10.Forthepurposeofthisstandard,apparatusincludesa)fixedapparatus;b)transportableapparatus;andc)portableapparatus.3Thisstandardisnotintendedtocoverthefollowing:a)apparatusintendedonlyforthedetectionofnon-flammabletoxicgases;b)apparatusoflaboratoryorscientifictypeintendedonlyforanalysisormeasurementpurposes;c)apparatusintendedforundergroundminingapplications;d)apparatusintendedforapplicationsinexplosivesprocessingandmanufacture;e)apparatusintendedonlyforprocesscontrolapplications;f)apparatusintendedforthedetectionofapotentiallyflammableatmosphereesultingfromdustormistinair.
