【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthreealloytypes,madefromtin,antimony,andcopper,usedinthefabricationofpewterarticlesbycasting,spinning,drawing,orforming.Themetalmaybesuppliedintheformofbars,ingots,rolledsheet,andcircles.1.2Pewteralloyshallbedefinedashavingacompositionwithintherangefrom90to98%tin,1to8%antimony,and0.25to3%copper.CompositionsaregiveninTable1.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
