【摘要】:ThisBritishStandarddescribesmethodsforassessingtheignitabilityofsinglematerialcombinations,e.g.coversandfillingsusedinupholsteredseating,orcompleteitemsofseating,whensubjectedeithertoasmoulderingcigaretteortoflamingignitionsourcesofthermaloutputrangingfromthatofaburningmatchtothatapproximatingtotheburningoffourdoublesheetsoffull-sizenewspaper,asmightbeappliedaccidentallytoanyitemoffurniture.NOTE1Itdoesnotnecessarilycoverignitioncausedbydeliberateactsofvandalismwitharson.Thefollowingmethodsaredescribed:a)upholsteredseatingcompositestestedwithflamingignitionsources(sources2to7)(Clause11);b)completeitemsofupholsteredfurnituretestedwithsmoulderingorflamingignitionsources(sources0to7)(Clause12).NOTE2PossiblewaysinwhichthestandardcanbeusedeithertoindicatethepotentialignitabilityofcomponentsinconjunctionwithotherspecifiedmaterialsorwheremorespecificinformationisrequiredaboutdesignfeaturesaregiveninAnnexB.
