【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidanceontheprocedureandinformationrequiredtoallowfunctionalsafetyassessmenttobecarriedoutforthedesignofprotectivesystems.ThepurposeofthisEuropeanStandardistoassisttechnicalstandardizationcommitteesresponsibleforspecificfamiliesofprotectivesystemsinpreparingsafetystandards.Suchstandardsshouldbeashomogenousaspossibleandshouldhavethebasicstructureoffunctionalsafetyassessmentasitisstatedinthisstandard.Iftherearenospecificstandardsforaparticularprotectivesystem,themanufacturershouldusethisstandardforfunctionalsafetyassessmentofthisprotectivesystem.Inthisprocedurethefollowinginformationistobetakenintoaccounttoensureasufficientleveloffunctionalsafety:a)intendeduse,b)possibleoperatingfaults,c)reliabilityofprotectivesystems,d)misusewhichcanreasonablybeanticipated.Asufficientleveloffunctionalsafetyischaracterizedbythefollowingobjectives:1)Systemcanstopanexplosionataveryearlystageorreducetheimpactofanexplosiontoanacceptablelevel.2)Intheeventoffaults,failuresand/orinterference~}thecapacitytofunctionremainseffectivebyusee.g.offailsafetechniquesorredundancy.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoveridentificationofpossibleignitionsources.NOTEITheidentificationofpossibleignitionsourcesiscoveredbyEN15198.ThisEuropeanStandardonlydealswiththefunctionalbehaviouroftheprotectivesystemi.e.hazardscausedbymalfunctions,e.g.falseactivationsareexcluded.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesneitherspecificmethodstoanalysefaultconditions,norspecificrequirementsforagiventypeofprotectivesystem(seeEN1127-1).Itspecifiesthemethodologyoffunctionalsafetyassessment.ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesadvicefordecisionstobemadeforalltypesofprotectivesystemsreferredtoinEUDirective94/9/EC,butdoesnotprovidemeanstoprovetheconformityofagiventypeofprotectivesystems.NOTE2EquipmentisdealtwithinEN15198owingtothefactthattheprocedureandinformationrequiredtoallowignitionhazardassessmentisdifferentfromtheprocedureabove.
