【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheaveragelengthandlengthdistributionoffibersinwooltop,onamass-biasedbasis.Themethodisapplicabletoalltypesoffibersinsliverformedfromlongparallelizedfibers.Note1--ThedeterminationoffiberlengthofwooliscoveredinTestMethodD1575,TestMethodforFiberLengthofWoolinScouredWoolandinCardSliver,thestaplelengthofgreasewooliscoveredinTestMethodD1234,TestMethodofSamplingandTestingStapleLengthofGreaseWool.Note2--ThistestmethodspecificallyrequireslengthininchesandmassinSIunitsandisnotcontrarytoASTMpolicy.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
